Golf Sligo

Sligo has some truly wonderful links golf as well as a fine selection of parkland and 9-hole inland courses. All are within easy reach of Sligo Town which makes the Glasshouse an ideal location for a golfing short break stay. Green fees are surprisingly affordable and visitors are always very welcome.

Incredibly, Ireland has a quarter of the world’s links courses and three of these are in Sligo – Enniscrone Golf Club, Strandhill Golf Club and County Sligo Golf Club in Rosses Point. Each of these historic links is situated in the most wonderfully scenic location along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Co Sligo Golf Club or ( Rosses Point ) as it is also known, is a Championship Links, now ranked in the Golf Digest 100 courses in the World.  Its is also home to the famous West of Ireland Championship and has hosted many other prestigious events including the Home Internationals, the Irish Close and the Irish Professional Matchplay Championship.  It boasts 18 holes and also a 9 hole course with state of the art practice facilities.

Enniscrone Championship Links course was voted "Best in Connacht" by Golfers Guide to Ireland and is repeatedly a top 15 links course in Gold Digest review of Irish golf courses.
