" Good Evening & Good Night Sligo "

On Thursday 7th May 2026 from 6pm until late, Sligo's vibrant night time economy will take centre stage at a special celebratory event " Good Evening and Good Night Sligo "  this exciting initiative is designed to showcase the diverse and dynamic offerings of Sligo town's after dark scene, while supporting local business and encouraging increased foot fall traffic in Sligo town.

Over thirty local business will participate in this event, either by hosting a special activity, offering exclusive discounts or having music and entertainment.
The event is set to offer a snapshot of Sligo towns vibrant nightlife offerings.  This is a special initiative a unique opportunity for both locals and visitors to rediscover Sligo after dark.

Here in The Glasshouse, we will be holding our Sri Lanka Curry Experience.  Treat your taste buds with an authentic curry dish, side with a glass of house wine or a local beer, all this followed by a sweet treat for €59.00 per couple.  Pre booking is recommended.

In addition, as part of the " Good Evening and Good Night " Sligo programme of events, a Most Stylish in Sligo competition will take place throughout the night.   The judges will be visiting participating venues to select nominees with €1,500 Love Sligo Gift Card worth of prizes on offer, which can be used to explore the best of Sligo’s local offerings. The prize giving will take place here in The View Bar here in The Glasshouse Hotel from 9pm.
